I often have stuff that I want to say about photography, debates I would like to spark. Social media isn’t always the best place to put together a structured argument or debate. And as the subject isn’t really of interest to my clients but more for fellow photographers I thought I would start a separate blog and this is it.

I always find it a little bit difficult to describe my photographic ‘level’ or ‘status’ “semi-professional” is probably the best description in that I charge for my work, mainly portraiture, but it is not my main living, and to clarify I don’t intend it to become my main occupation.
My background is in finance I own and run Bloomfield Financial and have been self-employed for most of my adult life so I am sure my business experience will influence quite a bit of the subject matter on this blog!
